BLEND BAR WITH DAVIDOFF CIGARS

Blend Bar Cigar approached LEAD with the desire to open their fourth location and first in Houston. LEAD was up for the challenge and took on the task to perform design / build services in The Woodlands. The project consisted of a total demolition of an existing 5,000 sq. ft. facility and new construction of a lounge to accommodate oversized custom furniture, custom walk-in humidor with stained wood shelving throughout, 40’ bar with full height glass providing a full view of the humidor, dining area, private boardroom with stained wood paneling and hidden bookcase entrance, and fully operational kitchen. What sets Blend apart from other cigar lounges is what was the most challenging aspect of the project, the AC and ventilation system needs. In order to provide the air quality required, the HVAC system recycles the air every 6 - 8 minutes. Fitting the tremendous amount of equipment and ductwork within an existing environment, within walls and ceiling that were to receive extremely high end finishes, required some finesse and a lot of planning and coordination.
