As your General Contractor, LEAD Construction will provide overall project management and supervision for the entire project from start to finish.
GENERAL CONTRACTING
LEAD will insure the highest quality of work while also creating a safe working environment for all trades and visitors onsite. LEAD will coordinate all subcontractors, procurement and delivery of materials, required inspections, and document management throughout the construction process. LEAD will project tracking schedules throughout the project as well as cost updates to insure the project is completed on time and under budget. LEAD utilizes PROCORE construction management software so all project documents are updated in real time and always at the clients fingertips including schedules, drawings, and daily logs with photos. Our superintendents and project managers are some of the best in their field. They take on the tough day to day issues so our clients can rest easy knowing their project is in good hands.
DESIGN-BUILD AND DESIGN-ASSIST
LEAD Construction offers Design-Build & Design-Assist services for those clients that would prefer a single point of contact from conceptual planning through design, preconstruction, construction and closeout. As your “Design-Build” contractor, LEAD will manage all, or part of, the design team including architects, engineers, and other consultants to allow you to focus on your day to day business. This allows our clients to have as much or as little involvement as they choose. Design / Build has many advantages including:
Cost Savings – All too often in the Hard-Bid market the owner doesn't know he is over budget until the project has already been fully designed and bid out. At that point it becomes extremely expensive to re-design bring the cost down. With Design / Build, LEAD is providing budget updates constantly during design to ensure there aren't any surprises. LEAD also works with our clients at this point to develop educated allowances and contingencies for unknown items that may arise as opposed to owners dealing with GC’s typical exclusions and costly change orders.
Length of Project – With everyone under one roof, working together, the length of the project will be more streamlined. This means great communications and fewer bottlenecks during the project. Overall, design-build projects are completed 33 percent faster than Hard-Bid projects.
