LEAD Construction was hired as the General Contractor by Enterprise Holdings Inc. to provide ground up construction of a new rental branch. This project included demolition of an existing service station and soil remediation prior to construction commencing. Construction included construction of a new wood framed rental building with Hardy-Plank siding, TPO roof, rental offices, break areas, restrooms, and outdoor carwash area. This project had several unique challenges. This was a relatively small site so logistics of material deliveries and phasing of construction required intricate planning to avoid conflicts. LEAD also had to coordinate site utilities including relocation of City of Houston light poles and offset of a City of Houston water main. The project was delivered on-time and within budget and has become one of the most successful rental branches in Houston.
